Is it hot wherever you are right now? Currently in my house it's 29 degrees Celsius. Outside it's a nice 23 degrees Celsius. The Summer is now in full effect, and that's good. We've been waiting for a while, and now it's happening. Let the Summer commence. And let's start the Summer properly with a mix that contains records that I've never heard before. Acid Techno, anyone? Is that your cup of tea? Well, tea might be a bit unpleasant now, as it's too damn warm. Maybe a nice cold beverage instead?
I don't know who reposted this mix on Soundcloud, but I'm happy that this individual did that, otherwise I would not have seen this mix. And now I'm sitting here, enjoying this Acid Techno focussed mix, and the mix itself was made by someone called Benji303. I'm guessing the 303 comes from the legendary TB-303, which we all love and adore. Where would we be without it?
I don't know much about Benji303, but I do know that this mix rocks. A bit of Acid, a bit of Techno. Blend them together, and voila: you've got an hour and 6 minutes long mix. I'm doing some work at the same time, and it makes my life much easier. A bit of the oldskool sound blended with some newskool sound. And the weather makes this mix even better. Don't know why, but it does.
What can you expect? Well, if you've never heard of this producer before, you are going to be very happy!

The tracklist is short, but very powerful. Again, I might not have encountered the name Benji303 before, but I'm certainly a new fan, a follower.
And I've lied. I certainly lied, but by accident. I have encountered the name before, in multiple mixes by Brooksie. Oh gosh darnit, I do apologise. Sorry mister Benji303.
But now back to the mix. It's a glorious mix. The Acid Techno comes at us at lightspeed, and it's fantastic to hear these glorious sounds. It takes me back to an era where the 303 dominated everything. Not only the 303, but the whole Roland line-up. That late 80s/early 90s sound is so cool. It might sound slightly dated, but to me it really doesn't: it is a timeless sound. If aliens were to land, they would embrace this Acid sound. Trust me, and trust the aliens.
It's a solid mix. Got only love and appreciation for this mix. A fantastic mix, and what a mix it is. Nearly 70 minutes of Acid Techno, couldn't wish for anything more. Now let's get back to the cold beverages, and crank up the volume to the max!
