Today it's Wednesday, and it's been a good day. I found a mix you all would appreciate, and it's one of those mixes you just stumble across by accident. This mix would not have been brought to my attention, wouldn't it have been to my wonderful followers on Soundcloud. They made sure I checked out this wonderful mix by FFF, whoever it might be. There is a short interview linked to this mix, you can find it if you click underneath the mix on Soundcloud. So even though you don't know the person, you do get the chance to read about him.
From the first second to the last it has been a wonderful session. You know, sometimes you just instantly 'feel' a mix? This was one of those mixes: I pressed play and got hooked immediately. I got early Goldie vibes, wouldn't you agree? The dark and edgy Jungle/Drum and Bass/Breaks vibes are so good to hear on a day when you are full of energy. Today was such a day: I seriously needed something to boost me even more, something that would get me way up in the air. And I think FFF's mix is the right one for me right now
Normally I would yap on and on about a mix, but today I will jump straight onto the tracklist. And it's a mixed bag of everything: from well known artists to obscure underground producers. And even FFF's own production can be found in here. Check this out!

Now, here's the thing. If you are in the 'zone, as I would like to call it, nothing can stop you, and I mean nothing. I've been sitting behind my computer since 7;30 in the morning, and I haven't switched off at all: currently still going on strong. There's no stopping me, and FFF's mix keeps me occupied, and gives me that extra boost I require to continue.
And also, sometimes you don't want something to stop. And this is one of those mixes. I've never heard of Cambrian Line or FFF, but I'm really intrigued. What is Cambrian line?
Anyway, let's talk about the mix. It's a nicely mixed and balanced mix, that takes you through the wonderful world of Jungle and Breaks and Drum & Bass. It might at some moments come across as a tad rough and tough, but I literally don't feel that. I feel totally euphoric, and in a state of bliss. FFF's mix is so damn good, it blows your mind away.
The only criticism I've got is the fact that during 'Bound 4' the audio levels are off. That's the only track that stand out, audio wise. It's also my least favourite record of this mix.
Which is the best? Well, FFF saved the best for last. 'Cityscapes' by Tim Reaper! My God, what a pure and unadulterated record. The first time I heard it I was in complete awe, and after hearing it for the 3705th time I still am in awe. What a banger!
I would urge you to check this mix out. Don't be square, check it out right NOW!
