Sunday has emerged, and we are all a bit meh. Lack of energy, maybe? Perhaps it is something else. But we need something smoothening for our ears. Something smooth but yet with a kick. Have I got a mix for you! I actually have, otherwise what's the point of a review? A few days ago, I went to my old trusty friend Soundcloud, and noticed that Colin HQ uploaded another Pounding Grooves mix. So immediately I jumped on it, and I fell in love.
Yes, I used the word 'Love'. Last year I discovered Colin's page, and the mix I noticed was a Techno mix with mostly Pounding Grooves songs in it. My favourite song in that mix wasn't actually a Pounding Grooves song, but it still created this craving for more Pounding Grooves songs. And I didn't know there were that many out there!
I think I mentioned it in the other review, but I've never noticed the name Pounding Grooves before. Not really sure who was behind the name, but I felt that the songs spoke to me, and took me back to the golden years of Techno. The Techno I like and appreciate. The Techno I find awesome. And Colin's latest mix is filled with ONLY Pounding Grooves songs. So that's a bonus in itself!
And it's vinyl only. If you care, this will make you even more happier and excited to check this one out!

I don't think I've encountered a mix with a tracklist before , so damn easy to type! Seriously, look how easy it is to type this list! Thanks Colin (and Pounding Grooves) for making my life a tad easier!
I do like this mix a lot. The songs are insanely good, and they remind me of the good ol' days. This is the kind of Techno that gets me going, and feel special inside. No fussy stuff, just good old, straight forward Techno.
I am loving the vibes, especially around the 26 minute marker. That's when shit goes insane. Don't really know which number that one is, but it makes me loose the plot fully. Colin's selection is great, especially this song (whatever number that might be).
It's a solid mix. And I've thoroughly enjoyed it. It's mellow enough, but rough when needs must. We need more Pounding Grooves mixes, or mixes that sound similar to the music made by Pounding Grooves.
