I might have completely missed this event, but I've never heard of Plunderdome before?! Can someone please elaborate what this event is? I cannot seem to find anything online. It might have happened 7 years ago, but someone must know. I am guessing that this isn't an event organised by ID&T, right? I know a lot, but Plunderdome, that's a new one for me. And it made me a tad curious when I saw a set by Casketkrusher at this event on Soundcloud. Obviously I had to jump aboard and check out this mix.
The reason I stumbled across this mix is because I wanted to hear a set by Casketkrusher he did a few years ago, which is still one of my favourite all time sets. It was his set at Ouwe Stijl Is Botergeil. But I can't do a re-re-review of this set, can I? So I wanted to hear something by him that I haven't heard before. Hence this mix.
I know Casketkrusher for his passion and dedication for everything Hardcore related, especially Happy Hardcore, but for this set he decided to play the early Hardcore stuff. The really early stuff. And I'm not sure, but you are still reading this, so you might like the early stuff, or just Casketkrusher. And if you do, why not check out this set?
The tracklist is one that I've not seen before. And these records you do not hear that often, which is a pity. We need more of this!

As you would expect, Casketkrusher did dig very deep for these anthems. Some I haven't heard in years, and some I've not even heard at all. Casketkrusher must spend a shit ton on buying these obscure records. But the good side of this, is the fact that he can deliver a wicked set. A bit of everything, and never a dull moment with him.
Whatever Plunderdome might have been, it gave Casketkrusher a well deserved stage. With this he delivered yet another wicked set. A bit of the well known and the obscure anthems, and the result is an hour long of truly early stuff. From the Happy Hardcore to proper Gabber. You can find it all in here.
I've got no complaints, but truth be told, I never do. Casketkrusher always delivers. So make sure you to check out this set, and basically everything he does. He's a true legend, an underrated DJ. He deserves so much more. Being on stage at Thunderdome would even be a good thing for him. He earned it.
Best record? Wavelan with 'Over Phase'. Don't think so? Bite me.
