It is Tuesday, unofficial Drum & Bass day. Do you know that this day isn't the only day which is classed as Drum & Bass day? Well, let me educate you in a little known secret, only those die-hard fans will know: EVERY DAY IS DnB DAY! Sorry, didn't mean to scream at you, but it's the truth. You can listen any day of the year to DnB, and it could be any subgenre of it too. Today's mix takes us back to 1997, which is 27 years ago (if you haven't noticed yet). A time that can only be relived through music.
I don't know much about the DJ, but I can only discuss the music selected. And the music is great. You can expect greatness from the year 1997. That only applies to people who like DnB music. And I'm one of them. I really like it, and it always makes me feel calm and very responsive. DnB has got the power to be as powerful as it wants to be, yet be calm and smooth to listen to. DnB can be anything you want it to be.
The music has been great. The mix might only be 72 minutes long, but within those minutes, DJextreme takes you on a journey. A journey back in time, and the DJ plays the finest released anthems from that year. And it's as gorgeous as you can imagine. It was a fantastic year for DnB and for all the fans of the music. And this mix proves how good that year was.

This is sexy, isn't it? I do love myself a bit of DnB, as it keeps me going. Well, yes, that sounds wrong, but you know what I mean. Hell, yeah, who needs Viagra when you've got DnB. Natural stimulant, right?
It hits hard, this mix. Especially when the sound changes to more sensual, more jazzy kind of DnB. And that's without a doubt the sexiest sound ever. Who can ignore 'Freedom' by Intaface? That is such a monster anthem. I closed my eyes and instantanuously did it teleport me to this underground Jazz club. My God, this is a beautiful record.
But truth be told, all 16 are. DJextreme has done a wicked job, and this mix is certainly one you need to check out. No flaws, no errors, nothing. Just pure DnB from 1997. Couldn't wish for more. It's like Christmas has come early this year.
Maybe check out the channel too, as it's got a lot of mixes on there you might like?
