From one UK Hardcore mix to another. The first one of today was made by DJ Dexx, and the one you are about to listen to, is made by DJ Dynamic. You all know I am a sucker for UKHC, and whenever I see a mix, I jump on it straight away. I cannot let it slide, especially when it comes with a tracklist. And it's yet again a mix, to commemorate the golden years of Hardcore. The difference between the previous one and this one are the tracks, as they are different, and this one is a few minutes shorter. That is all.
Are you ready to go back in time? When UKHC dominated everything? I was so much into UKHC, I had albums imported from Australia because they were sold out in the UK! It cost me a fortune, but it was so worth it. I made everyone around me aware of UKHC and probably drove them extremely mad. But that was just me. Young and innocent, and a bit silly. I'm older now, slightly bigger, but still a huge fan of UKHC.
Whenever I see a tracklist, I always get flashbacks to the moments when I first heard the songs on the list. And the majority in this mix, I do remember which album they were from, and where I was. They are that important to me, and are still awesome to listen to. They remained powerful as always, and loved even more, when time goes by.
But would this appeal to the new generation of ravers? That I don't know. I don't have the answers, the kids do whatever they like. They might love it, or detest it. But at least there's a huge group of people who were there when the music dominated our lives.

A good selection of anthems. Really awesome selection. And it reminds me how wholesome the scene was back in the day. Unfortunately it ain't like that anymore. But maybe one day it will be like it was. We can only hope and pray, right?
Dynamic's selection is great. I can talk about each individual record and provide you with some information, some personal bits and bobs, but I will not. Because those tracks, as good as they are, are nowhere near the best record in this mix. 'Do We Have To Say Goodbye' is still one of the most epic anthems EVER made. Disagree? Leave a comment below.
It is still a monster anthem, and I love it a lot. The other 13 are awesome too, but come on. Sy & Unknown during the golden years? They were the dog's bollocks. They were. Nothing can compete with their records.
A wicked mix. Worth checking out. And maybe check out the first instalment of this mix, if you have got a few minutes spare. But for now, listen to this mix!
