Saturday morning. It's very early. Couldn't sleep. So, instead of staying in bed, doing nothing, I decided to get up, and do a review. Turn it into a useful early start, right. And to start off this weekend, let's dive straight back into time, when UK Hardcore dominated my life. The golden years, which were the best. And the tracks released during those years are still seen as the best UKHC anthems of all time. DJ Dynamic picked a few, and made an hour long mix, with a fantastic title to this mix: 'Memories Of Hardcore'.
It's not the first mix I've encountered. And hopefully it won't be the last, as I really like the concept. Take me back in time, any day. And as you all know, I'm a huge UKHC fan. One of only a handful from the Netherlands. I grew up, listening to this music. And I'm always a happier chappie when I hear those magical anthems again. A smile from ear to ear appears. This is my happy place, my place of choice.
I've devoured so many hours of my life, listening to UKHC, and I will continue doing so, until I get too old and my hearing goes, or until I die. Why? Well, ''Hardcore Till I Die'', right? This isn't just a phase, this is a lifestyle, one I stay true to, until my last seconds on this Earth. This music means so much to me, and to millions of others. And it's so freaking awesome to find a mix with only anthems.
Dynamic went through some crates to find some of these forgotten gems, but are they truly forgotten? I would disagree, as they aren't forgotten. They will never be forgotten, and rightfully so. You have a look at the tracklist and tell me if you've forgotten them or not:

Wow. A trip down memory lane, that's for sure. This is a mix that certainly puts smiles on many people's faces. If you don't smile throughout, something is wrong. The mix contains the right amount of awesome records, and is only an hour long, but it packs a punch.
I do love these anthems a lot, and they always have this energy hidden within them, and it will only come out once you press play. Come on, like you don't want to start singing when these songs come on? How can you contain yourself from not singing?
These are solid anthems, but the one that grabbed me the most, is 'Call My Name'. In this mix, that's the track that gets me the most, hits me in the feels. Closely followed by 'Breathe' and 'Like I Feel'.
A solid mix. Nothing else to say. Cool picture too. An hour of awesome music, Christmas has come early this year!
