Qlubtempo. A concept I've sadly never visited. When it was around between 2001 and 2007, it created a lot of hype, and a lot of my friends did go to Qlubtempo at the Hemkade or the Heineken Music Hall. It's a concept much loved, And according to Partyflock, a lot of big names have appeared on the line-up over the years. Don't actually know why Q-Dance terminated this concept, this idea, as there was a huge hype on social media pre Dediqated. Another event I sadly didn't go to, due to bloody COVID, or was it because I'm living in a different country and are a tad lazy? Who knows, who knows?
If you've been to Dediqated, you might be able to assist me here: was it all in one area, one stage, or was it spread all over multiple areas? It seems to me that the line-up indicates one stage, 60+ artists? All having roughly 30 minute slots? If you do know the answer, leave a comment below.
But let's talk about the line-up. The line-up was gorgeous! So many, and I do mean, big names! The DJs were split in sections: the Qlubtempo Parade, Millennium Hardcore Mayhem, Praise The Reverse Bass, Future Heroes, Early Rave Rebels, Bella Hardstyle Italia, The Land Down Under, Viva Hollandia, Masters Of Melody, The Birth Of Raw, and Hardcore 2.0. I could just type the whole line-up, but that would mean the whole page will be filled with names. Let's not do that. But trust me, the names are big! Very big!
The Qlubtempo section had some big hitters too: A*S*Y*S, Dana, Pavo, Pila and Luna. The set I've found is them all behind the decks. For 30 minutes they do take you back in the day, to the years when Qlubtempo was alive and kicking. So what are we talking about? Well, the early years, the Millennium years. And what kind of tracks? Epic, fucking, dope Hardstyle anthems.
It's one big ass mashup session. So many tracks in such a short space of time. You'll love it, as much as I did!

Now these are classic anthems, wouldn't you agree? But would you expect anything less from these legendary DJs? They've been with us for so many years, they have gained the knowledge and experience over the years, and know exactly what the crowd wants to hear. And at Dediqated you can see the crowd loosing themselves.
Combined they must have reached at least 100 years of experience and knowledge, right? All these DJs have been in my life for as long as I can remember. So to have them all on one stage, throwing the finest Hardstyle anthems we all know, is just sublime. But let's turn our attention to the party for a second: the visuals are insane! Not only is the music great, but the stage looks extremely awesome! Q-Dance outdid themselves. It looked rammed but not completely full, but that's probably because it was still early.
Early, but that wasn't an issue. The DJs got everyone dancing from the first to the last second. And the tunes they played for the crowd, well, they are awesome. I wasn't even there (at Dediqated), but they got me dancing in my living room! Epic songs that took me back to the early years of Hardstyle. Probably the best years ever, right?
It was difficult to point out one favourite record from this set, but one that appealed the most to me has to be the one made by the Donkey Rollers 'Motherfuck'. When it does hit you, it will cause tremors all over your body. You won't be able to stop moving like a monkey on acid! Damn good track!
A fantastic set. Not a fan of the MC. Not just him though, but MCs in general. Some people commented on the Youtube video stating they missed Ruffian, but for me personally he didn't bring anything to the table. But maybe it's because I wasn't there, or never been to a set where he MC-ed? I am just not a fan of MCs. Sorry.
One to start your day with, if you haven't heard this set already! Come on, let's dance our way through this boring Tuesday!
