The weekend has started, and now a new world has emerged (with King Charles III), here in the UK. The world has awoken to some devastating news a few days ago, and things are slowly changing. For me, as saddened as I am, nothing is changing. We just keep calm and carry on. But the 'calm' bit does not really apply to me, as I don't do calm. Especially when it comes to my music. I like my music hard, and vicious too. No fucking about, just raw music blasting through my speakers.
On Facebook I was told by DJ Titanium (not related to Sia) that he had a new mix, one that was broadcasted on Toxic Sickness Radio. The thirteenth Millennium Hardcore focussed mix. I've missed the other 12, but at least I'm introduced to it, right? The Millennium period is now way behind us, but it remains as glorious as ever, and I still appreciate it a lot. Is it the best period in our 30+ years historic Hardcore period? Maybe... but that's just personal preference.
The sound just keeps on being as important to the Hardcore scene as anything else. The present day Hardcore is cool, but to me it was more ground breaking during the 2000s. 90s Hardcore still rules EVERY fucking thing, but the 2000s were innovative enough to leave a huge dent, and it changed the scene forever and ever.
So, to wake up to this mix on this glorious Saturday morning, that's a nice way to wake up to. But it all depends on Titanium's mix and the tracks he has used. Are they any good? Only one way to find out...

Nosferatu & Ophidian - Psychiatric Ass
G-Shock - Demons (Promo Remix)

Evil Activities & The Viper - Raw To The Floor
Ophidian & Ruffneck - So Many Sacrifices
Outblast - Masters Symphony (R3F!K5 By Evil Activities)

Angerfist - Take U Back (DJ Mad Dog Remix)
The Viper & Neophyte - First Aid
Diss Reaction - Jiieehaaaa (Angerfist Refix)
DJ Neophyte & Tha Playah - Great Success!
This is a nice looking list. Good selection by Titanium, got to give him credit for that. But leave that up to the Dutch. We always make sure things are done properly...
He starts off strong with one of the finest producers in the scene, Ophidian. And ends with one of the funniest but toughest tracks I've come across in a while. Borat in a Hardcore track? It was Borat, correct? Or the other character by that British actor who also plays Ali G? It is just so freaking funny. But in between you are getting the finest Millennium anthems. the ones that were played at all events, even in 2022. But they dominated the 2000s.
A very good selection. Strong and powerful. I liked it a lot!
There's a few small mixing errors though. It could have been a bit smoother and brushed nicer, if that makes sense? Still nothing major, but it would have been perfect.
All in all a great way to start your weekend with, and DJ Titanium makes sure you don't forget the most glorious decade in Hardcore history. I'll start looking out for the other mixes he's made for Toxic Sickness radio, but for now this mix goes on repeat again!
Best track? 'Great Success'. I like to laugh and rave at the same time! And this track has it all!
