It is Wednesday, and it's truly hot. It feels blisteringly hot, and most of us are hoping for a bit of cooler temperature. But that's just a human feature: we complain when it's too hot, and when it's too cold, we complain too! But instead of the temperature going up on its own, let's increase the temperature by playing a wicked mix! Yes, nothing can get us hotter than hearing an awesome mix. And today's mix is truly astonishing, and I have found it by accident, as I do with most mixes. And it's also the first mix in an instalment, so there might be more awesome mixes coming.
The mix was made by someone called Antone, and it's called ''Trance Classics Revamped''. And as you might have guessed, it's part 1. Don't know how many will be made, but if the first is this good, I can't wait to hear more. And the length of the mix is also truly acceptable: an hour and 20 minutes. That's just the right length, right?
So, according to the info for this mix, it's a new series and it takes the already existing Trance classics and bring them up to date with fresh, modern day interpretations. And you know I like myself a bit of that, but only if it's done correctly. And that's always my biggest worry. Because I feel you have to honour the classic, and do it as good or better than the original. But not worst. That's not a suitable scenario, right?
So, is this mix the right mix, and is it what we were looking for? Is this the perfect mix for what feels the hottest day of 2024 so far?

If this is the first mix in this new mix series, I cannot wait for the others! My God, this is a glorious mix. Antone has made a splendid one, with a lot of big hitters. The originals were awesome, but these versions can even be seen as better versions.
It did take me back in time, and I really loved these versions., Especially when my favourite one is played. But they are all wicked songs. And when 'Sirens Of The Sea' starts, you know you are about to listen to an awesome mix. And the hour flies by too quickly for most. You still have 20 minutes left, after the hour, but that's not what I meant.
You know what I mean, right?
So many great songs in here, but to me 'Rogue' is the best. I rediscovering all those gems remixed by Robert Nickson. So many classics, and this one is surely the best of this mix. Am I wrong?
