A couple of months ago I reviewed a Ultravibes mix, and it blew me away completely. It became my most favourite UK Hardcore mix ever, and it still remains in my top 3 of all-time favourite mixes. They have been rather quiet, but only a few days ago I noticed that they uploaded a brand spanking new mix onto Mixcloud, and I couldn't control myself: I had to press play as soon as I hit the link. And was I disappointed? Absolutely not!
This German based producer duo are making UK Hardcore for many years, and their last mix showed me how good they really are. They have got the potential to become the biggest duo in the history of UK Hardcore. And I do mean that. Their way of producing UK Hardcore and the end result is just so damn catchy. I have not heard a shite record by Ultravibes yet, and whenever I feel down, I listen to their mixes. They are just so on top of things, and sadly underrated. They should deserve more credit for making UK Hardcore good again!

At first I was a bit shocked, Gabber in an Ultravibes mix? That's just a tad weird. But then I realised that it's actually Ultravibes behind it! Dumbsucker is Ultravibes! (if it's not, I am looking like a fool now). But with or without the Gabber I would still listen to this mix. It's an Ultravibes mix!
The first half of this 40 minute mix is focussed on UK Hardcore, and the second half on the Gabber side of life. And of course I'm liking both halves! But my attention was drawn towards the UK Hardcore side. I don't know what it is, but Ultravibes' UK Hardcore venture appeals so much to me. It's happy, but yet bouncy and upbeat at the same time. But not too much EDM-ish, that's what I dislike every day more and more.
Gabber is good. And their venture into this harder style is a good one.
But which record in this mix caused the most damage? Well, not easy, but I had to pick two different records, same title: 'HTID'. Both versions are sick!
