Last year the world was awoken by a new artist and his album. The artist in question is called Dy5on, and this album was called 'Upfront & Vocal'. It got positive reviews by not just this website, but others who listened to his album. But now, one year later, he's done it again! And this time it's the follow up album, which has the same title as last year's edition, but it contains the word 'again' this time. Why? Well, because he's done it again: a new album, filled with cheerful UK Hardcore anthems, and vocal focussed anthems. Like the first instalment, but newer.
So he's done it again. Woop woop. You might be thinking that the two 'woops' were sarcastic, and normally they are, but this time they aren't. Sometimes you hear albums and if the follow up follows the same concept, it can be a bit boring, but not Dy5on's album. His first album was amazing, and now his second album is available for you all to listen to. And it's released via Hardcore Underground, so that means a lot, doesn't it?
If I'm correct, his first album was sold via Bandcamp, and now this new one can be purchased via Hardcore Underground. To promote his new album, Dy5on made a promo mix, which contains 15 records. That's awesome, but you know what's even better? The album. Because the album contains 20 tracks, so the only way to find out the other 5 records, you need to get this album.
If you've not heard of Dy5on before or not heard this album yet, let me show you the tracklist.

Darwin & Dy5on - Stop The World
He's done it yet again. Another wicked album, I think. Haven't purchased it yet, but the promo mix certainly contains wicked UK Hardcore/Happy Hardcore anthems. And they make me dance a lot. Yes, dance. This body can still bust a move. That's for sure. I might be in absolutely agonising pain after, but that's a different story.
I heard one of Dy5on's latest tracks in Fracus & Darwin's newest podcast series, and I fell in love immediately. So I went to his Soundcloud page, found this promo mix, and I've been all over it ever since. And it does contain the records you need to hear.
The tracks are solid, and he's had some help along the way, with other producers and vocalists. And vocals make everything perfect. That's just the truth. Instrumental tracks can be ace too, but put a vocal section in, and the song is uplifted.
He's worked with a few of the big names in the scene, but to me his own productions are just what I needed to hear. The two tracks that stand out the most are 'Time Is Running Out' and 'Here For You'. Not feeling 'Too Little Too Late' yet, but give it some time.
A wonderful album. As good, if not better than the first one. Is this going to be a regular thing? A yearly album release by Dy5on? Can't wait for 2024's album!
